Participating in fab Group Photography Exhibition “silent perspectives”

I will participate in the fab Group Photography Exhibition “silent perspectives,” held at Gallery NEUTRAL in Kyoto from April 18 to 26, 2026.
This exhibition is part of KG+ 2026, the satellite program of the international photography festival KYOTOGRAPHIE.
STATEMENT
Our work begins with events and landscapes that exist quietly within everyday life.
These are things that are usually given no special meaning and are consumed as ordinary and unremarkable.
Yet, by shifting our perspective slightly, other realities hidden within them—as well as structures connected to society and the times in which we live—begin to emerge.
“silent perspectives” is an attempt to turn our attention toward things without a voice, or toward viewpoints that have historically been denied one.
When we look at the world, our gaze is shaped by unconscious assumptions and by perspectives formed and fixed through culture, history, and society.
This exhibition quietly questions these very frameworks through which we see.
Although the works presented here begin with everyday and personal experiences, they distance themselves from established values and one-directional ways of seeing. By shifting perspective, they reveal multiple interpretations and overlapping realities. These photographs do not offer definitive answers. Instead, they create a space in which each viewer may reconsider their own position and way of seeing.
